London is the capital city of England and the United Kingdom is the largest

84% of the UK population, actually a really crowded country. England is an
industrialized country with one of the largest economy in the world, it’s so busy in
the major cities like London, Manchester or Liverpool but it is more quit in the rural
zones or in the small towns.
The official currency in England is the pound sterling.

of Great Britain, plus such offshore islands as the Isle of Wight and the Isles of
Scilly. It is separated from France by 34 kilometers. The most important rivers of
England are the Thames, Mersey and Tyne
England has a temperate maritime climate; it is now lower than 0°C in the winter
and not much longer than 32°C in the summer. The rainfall is higher in the west
and parts near the Lake District have more rain than anywhere else in the country.

The first man came to England about 35,000 years ago, when sea level was lower
than now, and Britain was connected by land to Ireland and Eurasia.

The Industrial Revolution was a period of deeps changes in the socioeconomic
and cultural conditions of England industrialization of agriculture, manufacturing,

development.
The economy of the country is based on chemical and pharmaceutical sectors,
technical industries, arms industry, and the manufacturing side of the software
industry. England´s economy is the largest economy in the UK, which has the 18th
highest GDP PPP per capita in the world.

England and the United Kingdom have a great development in arts since ancient
times to nowadays, being the creators of master pieces like Robin Hood, Sherlock
Holmes or magnificent writers like William Shakespeare or J.K Rowling. It also had
some of the greatest music bands in the modern times like the Beatles, The Rolling
Stones, Queen amongst others.
Christianity is the most practiced religion in England since the middle ages, and
today about 72% of English people identify as a Christian.
